The following two days after Albany were spent at sea as we headed across to Adelaide.

( Day 5 & 6 - At Sea )
Right, so after I last left you, we had just arrived in Albany. Another WA Port, another day without 3G reception..
( Albany )
Well, sorry it's taken so long to post, but we've had no reception since we got to Adelaide.
Now that I've got a few spare minutes I'll do some catching up!
First here's a couple pictures from Bunbury:

Hi guys, me again!
Well, we just set sail for Bunbury about an hour and a half ago and once again I'm just about ready to hit the hay.
We checked out of the hotel at about 10am this morning with no hassles and headed straight for Fremantle Passenger Terminal. Even though our tickets said that check-in started at 2pm we were checked in at about 11:30am and were on the boat by about 12:30pm!

First thing we did (as you do) is find our Stateroom. We were greeted about halfway down the hallway of the Baja deck by Farrel, our attendant. After telling him our names he knew exactly who we were and showed us straight to our room. Nice guy! =)
We spent the next couple of hours exploring the ship. Most of the shops and things were closed because we were at port. They'll open tomorrow evening after we leave Bunbury I guess. After a bit more of wandering though we found the 24hr buffet and stopped in for some fruit and lemonade. Felt weird just getting up and leaving without having to pay!

Princess Theatre

Wheelhouse Bar

Grand Plaza
We found the theatre, casino and bar. I am busily commiting their positions in the ship to memory for later on! ;)
Strangely, it seems there is some Western Australian law that forces the casino to stop operating until we get to South Australia on the 6th. No idea why. If you know, lemme know!
After our explore, it was back to the stateroom to unpack and send Luke on a quest to the nearest supermarket to find a double-adapter. There's only one plug in the staterooms..
Dinner was great. The names of the food were too complicated for me to remember, I'll pay more attention next time. All i can really remember is mushrooms and puff pastry, chicken broth, ribs and sauce and vegies, chocolate mousse...
Finally, we sat out on our balcony after getting back from dinner and watched the ship leave dock.
That's about it from me! Time to start Day 2!

Had a couple of people tell me that they want to know all about my holidays this year, so i'll endeavour to use this to keep everyone up to date! Hope you enjoy reading about our adventures over the next few weeks!
What's Planned So Far:
Flight to Perth
Overnight stay at Tradewinds Hotel, Fremantle
12 Night Cruise aboard the Sun Princess travelling from Fremantle to Sydney Via Adelaide
Cruise Itinerary
Day 0
Well, I've decided to start at what I'll call 'Day Zero' which is the day before the cruise leaves. Should have posted it yesterday, but I was too pooped!
We left home around 6am and headed to the Airport. The flight was nice. About 4 and a half hours, breakfast included. Love the fact that everyone gets their own little TV and nice selection of Movies, Music and Games to play.

Touched down in Perth about 10am and caught a shuttle bus out the the Hotel here at the Tradewinds in East Fremantle. Along the way we met an American lady who was visiting the country for the first time and we chatted about all things Australian. She then suggested a pub we visit while we were in Fremantle. Nice lady!

I was pretty tired by the time we got to the hotel and was very tempted to just stay there for the rest of the day. But we thought we should probably see something since we were only here for one day.
So we headed into Fremantle and browsed the Markets and had lunch at the Sail & Anchor.
The markets were small, but still had more interesting stuff than you'd find at Paddy's or Victoria Markets. Lunch was great. Steak sandwhiches for the win!

After we'd done there we went for a walk down to the water and spent the next couple hours looking for the Dock where the Sun Princess was due to leave.
Hm... Bought a book (Wicked!) to read onboard the ship and then headed back to the hotel.
That pretty much concludes day one! Sorry it was rushed, but I gotta pack up the room and get ready to head to the ship! Can't wait!
